Review on Avon Extra Lasting pressed powder© from my dear sister
This pressed powder is good for people who like to keep their make-up light. Just for someone like me, I don’t like to put on foundation if I’m just going out to the mall or the movies or just a simple family dinner. So I use this featherlight powder that gives my skin an even coverage and it’s sweat and water resistant! It also stands against heat and humidity and it comes with SPF 15, these are key features in makeup products for me considering I live in a very sunny and humid country.
This product is very good, it promises to stay on for 18 hours (but we all know that this is never true) but it stays on long enough. So I guess that’s not that big of a problem.
I use the pressed powder in the shade Medium. Whenever I put it on my face I first use a moisturizer, let it set for about 3-5 minutes and then I dust the powder on with a Kabuki brush by The Body Shop©. The powder comes in a mirrored compact and has a sponge applicator but I find it better to dust the powder with a brush so it comes on evenly and it blends better than with the sponge.
I really love this powder, not only because it stays on for quite some time, but also because it doubles as a eyeshadow base. Because it’s a long-wearing powder I find it quite handy that I can use it as a base for something else. I just bring the powder on my eyelids with my ringfinger, just apply a tiny bit, and then I put on my eyeshadow. And it really helps against creasing.
The Avon extra lasting pressed powder is also good for those who have very oily skin, it gives you that matte finish that lasts for quite some time. The powder can also be used to set your foundation, so if you have put on maybe a liquid or mousse foundation, you can lightly dust this powder on your face to help your foundation stay on longer.
And here is my review on the foundation I use
This is a sheer make up for light coverage. Beautifying sheer tint. It creates an even-toned complexion with its oil free, sheer, tinted makeup. Protects skin SPF 15 and contains grape sees; green tea extracts' and vitamins A, C and E. 1.3 fl OZ cost only $8.
I love this foundation because it is not too much on my face, it smells great and it's healthy. And after applying this I put Ideal Flawless Pressed Powder of Avon
